Terms of Service

Materix is a commodities intelligence platform that provides structured market signals, positioning data, and analysis across energy, metals, and agriculture. We deliver this data through an API, an MCP server, a web dashboard, and social media content.

Materix is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planner. The signals, scores, and analysis we provide are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute investment advice, and you should not make trading decisions based solely on our data.

You can access Materix through a free tier or a paid subscription. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. You can cancel at any time through your dashboard, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details.

When using Materix, you agree not to:

• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense our data or API responses to third parties
• Exceed published rate limits or attempt to circumvent them
• Use automated systems to scrape data outside of our provided API
• Interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or probe for vulnerabilities without permission
• Present Materix signals as your own proprietary research for commercial sale

You may use our data for personal analysis, internal research, and to build applications that consume our API within your rate limits. If you want to integrate Materix data into a commercial product, contact us to discuss licensing.

Your API key is tied to your account and subscription tier. Do not share your key publicly (in client-side code, public repos, etc.). If you believe your key has been compromised, regenerate it immediately from your dashboard.

We reserve the right to revoke API keys that are used in violation of these terms or that generate abusive traffic patterns.

We source data from public government agencies (EIA, CFTC, USDA, FRED), market data providers, and exchange feeds. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee that our data is error-free, complete, or current at all times.

Data sources may experience outages, delays, or corrections. Our composite signals are algorithmic outputs based on these inputs — they reflect model opinions, not facts.

Materix is not registered with the SEC, CFTC, FINRA, or any other regulatory body. Nothing on this platform constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any commodity, security, or financial instrument.

Commodity futures trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance of our signals does not guarantee future results. You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Materix and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or trading losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or fail to pay for a subscription.

Upon termination, your API keys will be deactivated and your access to paid features will end. We may retain anonymized usage data for analytics purposes.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Materix after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
