Refund Policy

The Short Version
We want you to evaluate Materix risk-free before committing. Our free tier gives you access to core signals and market overviews — no credit card required. Use it for as long as you like to decide if a paid plan is right for you.
Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. When you cancel:
- Your access continues through the end of your current billing period.
- You will not be charged again after cancellation.
- Your account reverts to the free tier — you keep access to free-tier features.
- Your API key remains active at free-tier rate limits.
There is no cancellation fee and no long-term commitment. Monthly subscriptions are month-to-month.
Refunds
Because you have access to a free tier for evaluation before subscribing, we generally do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Once a billing cycle begins, that period is non-refundable.
However, we will consider refunds in these situations:
- Service outage: If Materix was substantially unavailable for an extended period during your billing cycle (more than 48 consecutive hours), contact us for a prorated credit.
- Billing error: If you were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge, wrong tier, etc.), we will refund the difference immediately.
- First billing cycle: If you subscribed within the last 7 days and have not made significant API usage, we may offer a full refund at our discretion.
How to Request a Refund
Email support@materix.dev with your account email and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
Approved refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy (our payment provider) and typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days.
Tier Changes
You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription tier at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
